This week we caught up with mega fashion-babe Alexis Knox!  As well as a busy freelance stylist for runway shows, commercial projects, music videos and editorial shoots, Alexis is also fashion director for Notion magazine and shares fashion tips with Motel fan Gemma Cairney on BBC Radio 1! Here she gives us the low-down on her top picks at Motel, and who better to take fashion advice from than the super-stylist herself!

Alexis says, “I was obsessed with the movie The Craft growing up so the Bonnie Long Sleeve in Black Fishnet worn with a chocker pendant, dark mini skirt kilt and army boots will help me release my inner Nancy Downs.” Grunge chic, we love it! Why not try it with the Amy Mini Skirt?

And if you are out with the girls and ‘on the pull’, Alexis tells us, “Boys like football. Totally pretend you’re a footie referee in the Lee Lee Long Sleeve Dress in Black & White Stripe to get the flirting flowing!”

Another top from Alexis’ picks is the Box Crop KICK Tee; ”You’re literally one pompom away from being a totally head cheerleader babe in this!” She tells us “Sports American is going to be huuuuuge this spring so pull up your socks and get onto the field with this rad Base Ball Sequined Top.”

Lastly but certainly not least, Alexis picks out the Suni Midi Dress in Black Smoke, dubbing it “subtle, sophisticated stylish and smoking hot!” Thanks Alexis, we are totally sorted for spring!

The Saturdays graced the cover of this week Celebs on Sunday magazine channelling their inner cheerleaders as they discussed their plans to storm America and posed for fun shots featuring a unique accessory… pom poms!
