If you were lucky enough to be at V-Festival last weekend we’re all pretty jealous here at head office. Apart from the music the attention was on what the stars were wearing. Heidi form The Sugarbabes was looking hot in our Celia Peacock Blue whilst performing at the festival. This amazing dress features a sexy cut out back with a mesh insert. Miss Little Boots isn’t a stranger to wearing Motel and she been caught again this time wearing the louve skirt teamed with the Erin Blouse (now sold out) – shes makes this summer chic look completely effortless and we think it’s a great little outfit you can team with wellies through out the festival season! You can also spy Little Boots hanging out with another Motel favourite Marina from Marina and the diamonds!

Little Boots has also been spotted in the popular Winona – Egyptian head (now sold out) with think this looks great teamed with over sized retro sunglasses and some gladiator sandals would finish off a perfect day to night outfit! Monthly lifestyle- and music-magazine “DATES Magdeburg”  has fatured a pair of motel printed shorts as well as the adorable betsy dress, this mag has a circulation of 55.000, and targets a young fashion and music interested audience between 18 and 28. These items have sold out but check out other betsy dresses…

German girls-band “Queensberry”, wearing the new MOTEL summer print  in Hollywood. The band has several gigs and is touring around the USA. They will be covered by different TV channels as well as fashion and music magazines. This is just an introducing picutre, there is lots more coverage to come…

So New Young Pony Club are currently on tour till May and since we saw they’d be playing at the Thekla Bristol, we thought we’d go a long for a good dance!

What we didn’t expect is for the girls to pop into our very own Motel Bristol store to pick some garments to add to thier wardrobe! We naturally gifted the girls with a few pieces as a little treat and said we’d be at the show later!

As you can see from the pictures, when we got to the gig Tahita (lead singer) and Sarah (drummer) had decided to wear their dresses and boy did they look good! Tahita had teamed hers with the truly amazing Henry Holland stocking tights (which have a cult following of their own) and super high heels, a killer look all round! Tahita was wearing the Motel Grace dress and Sarah was wearing the Chain me dress .

Apart from a few rowdy middle aged men in the crowd howling quotes such as ” I can give you what you want!” to Tahita, the gig was energetic and packed full of boot stomping beats for us to pull some serious shapes to… Check out their latest video to get a taste.

Check out Motel’s latest find lurking in the covers of this week’s Look magazine. It’s the gorgeous Marina Diamandis AKA Marina from Marina and the Diamonds.

This is Band Kap Bambino a french indie band to look out for, we have been browsing through there myspace and spotted lead singer Martial Caroline wearing the Motel selina dress whilst singing on stage:

“We want to do something like an electronic band but with the energy of a rock band. It’s not a rock band. We are nerds. We do a lot of things with laptops, guitar effects and the Midi controller,” Says Martial. Add in a Slayer shirt, a bloody knee, smeared mascara and beer-drenched hair, and you get an idea of what this nice French girl is capable of.

The Plastiscines are an US Indie band with lots of attitude. They are influenced by Blondie ,The Kinks, Libertines, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the White Stripes.
