Hello Motel Rockers! It’s Aisling from fash-ling here and a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to take a sneak peek behind the scenes of Motel, helping out on the AW12 shoot, and I can now share some pictures of what we have in store for you in the colder months!

Here at Motel I’m sure you know that we have a love of all things glitzy, and this season will not disappoint. We have the usual mix of stunning dresses and fun playsuits with cool prints and sexy sequins. We also have a lot of luscious velvet and gothic glamour coming soon – and hey with this weather, the more layers the better right?

When shooting all the looks for the website, it’s quite a manic process – with hundreds of looks to get through, we have to be fast paced. Changing the model and getting the entire look together has to be done seamlessly, with everyone in the team working together. You can see above our lovely model being styled in to perfection. It sure is fun, and who can complain when you get to work with amazing clothing and an amazing team!

We also had some amazing shoes and accessories to work with for AW12, including some lovely pieces from Rock’N’Rose, and lots of makeup to droll over. You can see just how many looks we shot too – have you ever seen so many Motel tags?

And here are some last few photos to show you what it’s really like behind the scenes on the shoot. We were lucky enough to be using a lovely open and airy studio, letting the sun shine in – helping us all get in an upbeat working mood.
