We are beyond hooked on X Factor at Motel HQ and the stand out girl group Rhythmix are huge Motel fans! They have worn their fave Motel pieces FOUR weeks in a row, including the Fay Leopard Heart Tee and the Tilly Mint Tee below, punked up with studded shorts and star print tights. Our favourite look above on Leigh-Anne is the incredible Ozlem Colour Block Dress with popping hues of teal, pink and blue, with the awesome, graphic Tilly Lip Print Cropped Tee! We love the way they mix prints and colours for a customised look that’s all their own. Girl power!

Check out the cult Ozlem Dress below and pick from two brand new colourways too! This dress will turn heads all night – prepare to be the star of the stage!

Hallo!
It’s Emma again from Boom Nails! This week I’m going to show you how I did some nail art based on the gorgeous Motel Ozlem Dress in Primary Colours.

The first step is to do a basecoat on all the nails – I used Orly Bonder.
Then you need to copy the sections of colours in the dress onto the nail. I would usually do that with coloured nail art pens, but because I didn’t have all the colours I needed, I just used regular pots of nail varnish. Because you will be separating each section of colour with a thick line of black, it doesn’t matter if it’s not super neat!

Once you’ve done the blocks of colour on all the nails, divide the sections up with a black line. I did two thin stripes very close together for each line, and then filled that in. To do the black, you can use a nail pen such as the Models Own x Wah Nail Pen sold on the Motel website.

When all the nails are done, you should have something that looks a bit like this…

To buy the Ozlem dress, mosey on down to the Motel website!
Until next week, TA RAAH x

There’s a new big hit in town – the Motel Jester and Bambi Dresses are causing a scene! These new monochrome dresses are flying off the website due to their figure-fixing panels and easy-to-wear hues. They are just enough to tone down in the day but look incredible with sky scraper heels and colour pop accessories for an uber glam statement at night!

Hellooo, It’s Emma here again from Boom Nails!
I recently did some nail art based on one of my favourite current Motel print – the Monochrome Triangle Print! I’ve done a nail tutorial using photographs so you can try it out yourself.
All you’ll need is:
- Base Coat
- White nail varnish
- A black nail art pen (Check out the Wah! x Models Own pen HERE)
- Top Coat
The first step is to do a basecoat. Then paint on two coats of white nail varnish..

Now use your Black Nail Art Pen to do a kind of triangle spiral, like in the picture below. Start off with one, and then continue with the same triangle pattern repeated until you have filled the nail.

Do this on all the nails, and you should have something that looks a bit like this…!

Amazing! Shop the Monochrome Triangle Print HERE and also check out Motel’s selection of hot Models Own Nail Polish colours!
