It’s time to start thinking about your Festival wardrobe so we’ve launched the Motel Festival Shop. Whether you’re going to be tenting it at Glastonbury or doing it city style at Lovebox we have the essentials you need.

Eye catching prints are huge this summer and a great way to stand out at festivals. We love animal prints such as our bodycon Blake dress or cropped Carly tee to throw on with some denim cutoffs and striped separates – such as our Becca skirt.

Always pack an easy to wear vest style dress such as our Sonia or New Zoe dresses and some statement sunglasses – this is a quick outift fix to look hot when dressing in a tent. Florals are always a winner for festivals.

We took a trip down to Wah Nails recently to get our nails did! Wah is a Dalston nail salon that have become world famous for their jazzy nail designs – think aztec, stud and neon colours! They recently designed a range of nails based on Motel clothing, so we went down to try them out.

We got a pink and black stripe based on the Pink Striped Tilly Tee and a red rose design based on our Sonia Dress in Big Red Rose Bud.

The final result! Modelled with the Jordan Jeans in Black and White Stripe.

We love our international customers and love it when we’re recognised our fave international press. Wah Nails, London’s coolest nail salon, known worldwide for their crazy nail designs – (think aztec, leopards, studs and neon colours) have designed an exclusive range of nail designs based on Motel Rocks clothing. Taking inspiration from our Spring and Summer collections Wah designed a range of nail designs (Which are available in their Dalston and Topshop Oxford Street salons) – including our Pretty Rose print, Wallflower print and Bengal print.

We’re running a competition on Facebook to see who can guess the most prints or garments in the nails. So part of the Motel family have packed up their bags and jumped on a plane over to Miami (of course there was no complaining from the parties involved!) and is currently doing their first wholesale show in the area called ‘Coast’ held in a really cool art building (coincidently) in the art district of Miami – one of our girls sent us over a few pictures of the show and the Motel stand and we thought we’d share them with you!

(Because in Miami… you never know when a taxi man might need his maracas!)

The Motel family is growing and growing and with everything going so well in the US, Motel are pleased to announce the opening of a new office based in LA! Motel has taken America by storm since we started over there a few years back, and with everything going from strength to strength we decided we needed to start a US side to the company, so to all our American fans out there… watch this space!! Exciting times are ahead!
