Leeds is a fashion Mecca waiting to be explored.

If window shopping is your thing, head to the Victoria Quarter! Home to brands like Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Vivien Westwood, a shopping trip there would seriously dent your student loan.  But it’s the most unique fashion development Leeds has to offer. Inside, 76 designer shops are lined up on marble streets. The bustle of the high street is left behind.  A must see destination in the City Centre.

There are many great independent shops in Leeds but MIYUKI-ZOKU has to be the best of bunch. MKI (for short) is an emerging brand which brings you designer looks at high street prices. They make edgy twists on wardrobe classics so each piece is a long term investment. With most items in limited stock, MKI is as exclusive as they come.

When money is running low but you still want to eat out with the girls head to Quilted Llama. The food is amazing and on Tuesdays, it’s two for one on pizza. After a stressful day of lectures, or shopping, you can relax on their comfy leather sofas and chow down. There’s a plenty of seating to choose from, you can be near the bar or by the open flame oven. There’s a private booth too, but first come first served! Quilted Llama also has an impressive cocktail menu with two for one on Thursday. It’s on campus location means you can’t miss it.

Motel’s press update this week is a busy one with the arrival of the festive season we have all the right dresses to dazzle in at all the parties.

The Gem Red dress have been featured in Star magazine and looks fabulous with knee high Henry Holland socks and chunky boots.

The Rhona Animal Shorts have been featured in the Heat Magazine. This wild prints shorts have perfect match with a bodice and camel tone coats.

Look Magazine have featured the Celia Peacock Blue dress. This eye popping graphic print will make sure you catch everyones attention at the Christmas party.

X-Factor magazine have featured the Victoria Animal dress. Get the X-Factor look and be demure like Rebecca with pearl earrings and sleek black wedges.

Today’s prize is our favourite by far! You know we are all huge fans of Jeffrey Campbell shoes over here in the Motel office and so when Jeffrey Campbell sent us over these gorgeous Backstage wedges we got a little weak at the knees! These brogue inspired leather shoes feature a lace up front with a sling back. The monochrome pallet works perfect with Henry Holland tights and a dazzling dress.

These shoes come in a set size of 6.5 UK size.
